There will be no punishment for breaking the traffic rule on Diwali The Gujarat government has announced that people will not be fined for violating traffic rules during the festival of Diwali this year.

Addressing a gathering, he said that in view of the festival of Diwali, the traffic police in Gujarat will not charge any fine from people violating the rules till October 27.

The minister said, “From October 21 to October 27, the traffic police in the state will not collect any fine from the people.
